2024 Summer Reading Program

Read and get rewarded! Summer Reading Program begins on Monday, June 2024.

Track how many minutes you've spent reading or being read to. Read anything you with but we have lists and recommendations if you need help choosing a book. Pick up a Reading Log at the library or track your reading using the Beanstack website and app.

Each age group has their own goal to reach.

Each month's reading goal will be available at the beginning of the month (June 10, July 1, August 1); you will have until the end of that month (June 30, July 31, August 17) to complete it. Prizes are limited and subject to change. All prizes must be picked up in person at the Big Rapids Community Library.

Complete your monthly Reading Goal and come in to the library to receive a free book, one reward out of the treasure box, and one ticket towards the Final Prize Drawing. You must complete ALL 3 MONTHS to be eligible for the Final Prize Drawing. Submit your ticket on Beanstack or visit the library and talk to library staff. You can put all earned tickets towards one prize or pick multiple prizes. Entering your prize ticket towards a prize is not an automatic win.
