"THINGS" at the Library
Big Rapids Community Library residents and non-resident card holders, with an account in good standing, may check out one of these items for 7 days.* All items are available for a one-time renewal if they are not on hold for another patron. When returned, please bring them to the first-floor circulation desk and hand them to a library staff member. One item per library card is allowed.
*Card holders under the age of 18 need a parent or guardian with them at the time of checkout.
Board Games and Puzzles
There are a variety of different styles of board games and puzzles, including ones for different age groups and skill levels.

Canning Kits
There are four canning pots and one pressure cooker available to check out. They all comes with instructions and canning tools. All kits needs to be thoroughly washed before being returned.
Fit Kits
Fit Kits are available to check out for 21 days. Each kit comes in a carrying case that includes instructions on how to set up and how to disconnect it from your device(s).
Launchpad Tablets
Ages 5 and up. These kid-friendly devices come pre-loaded with great financial education games. No internet connection required!

Each kit comes with a Ukulele in a bag, a beginner workbook and tuner.
